The whole Soviet Union knew and loved this dark-skinned boy. James Lloydovich Patterson played in the movie “Circus” with Lyubov Orlova as a child. Then he entered the Nakhimov Military College and joined the Navy. His love of poetry overcame his craving for the sea, he became a poet, and his children's books were published in Russia. In May 2025, James Patterson passed away. In recent years, he has been living in a nursing home in Washington, DC.
