Lada is a young woman who is waiting for the holiday of Krasnye Gorki, where she hopes to prevent her mother from fulfilling her plans. Lada's mother has arranged a marriage with the son of a wealthy friend, but Lada does not like him at all. In an attempt to stop the wedding, Lada resorts to various methods, including love spells, rituals, and attempts to attract the attention of a local boy named Danila. Lada's actions are fueled by a desire for revenge against her mother for forcing her into this marriage.
