Based on the short story "Dead Season" by Ray Bradbury. A greedy entrepreneur Alex is so focused on making money that he ignores the world around him. He is passionate about his business and does not care about the news or world events. When Martians approach him with a mission, he perceives them as a threat to his wealth and property.
